Are you a Human Resources Director who creates a fun work environment for your team? Are you passionate about hospitality and being there for your team in all functions? Qualified candidates MUST come from a hotel, resort, or country club with at least 7 years in Human Resource Management and understand New York State employee laws. Candidates should have worked in seasonal resorts or clubs, understand J1 and H2B recruitment, and embrace working in remote areas.

Director of Human Resources Salary and Benefits

  • Salary range to$160,000
  • Health, dental, and vision 80% company paid eligible on day 1
  • 401K employer match and eligible after 1 year
  • PTO – 11 days
  • Vacation 10 days
  • Relocation up to 10% of base salary
  • Interim housing will be considered on a case-by-case basis

Director of Human Resources Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company standards
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, including conducting interviews and negotiating job offers
  • Coordinate performance management processes
  • Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits – develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations – implement process improvements to streamline HR operations

Director of Human Resources Qualifications and Benefits

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  •  Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management roles
  • Strong knowledge of New York State employment law
  • Proven experience in benefits administration and employee relations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Kronos, Paylocity, or Oracle
