A pioneering leader in the field of advanced firefighting solutions, specializing in cutting-edge foam proportioning systems and state-of-the-art firefighting monitors, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager for the North America region. There will be a heavy concentration in the Houston market. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting our cutting-edge product portfolio, identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, managing our esteemed Authorized Distributor network, and implementing strategic marketing and sales initiatives to drive market share growth.

Director of Business Development Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the fire protection industry
  • Generate qualified leads and uncover new business opportunities across existing and emerging market segments
  • Strategically manage and expand our network of trusted Authorized Distributors
  • Position our company as the preferred choice for advanced foam-based fire protection solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative marketing, sales, and service strategies
  • Represent our company at prominent industry events and organizations, fostering brand awareness and thought leadership

Director of Business Development Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably in Process/Mechanical/System Engineering) OR 5-10 years of experience in fire suppression systems/risk management
  • Proven track record in B2B value-added sales and marketing within technical industries
  •  Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in the fire suppression systems market and product offerings are mandatory
  • International work experience and cultural awareness will be considered a significant advantage
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively (approximately 50% of the time)
