Our client is a private equity-owned manufacturer of electrical distribution equipment founded over 80 years ago. They are primed for aggressive expansion into new and existing markets. We are seeking a dynamic Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis and reporting. Reporting to the company’s Controller, this person is expected to provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.
FP&A Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
- Maintain detailed financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
- Present financial reports including variance analysis
- Develop dashboards and KPIs to monitor business performance
- Ensure financial reporting is in compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Provide strategic support, leading initiatives to improve financial processes and systems as well as provide financial insights and recommendations
- Opportunity to build a team of financial analysts
FP&A Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- MBA, CPA or CFA a plus
- 5+ years of financial planning and analysis experience
- Proven success managing processes and development of financial models
- High proficiency with financial planning software; NetSuite experience a plus;
- Advanced proficiency with Excel
- Must be a Critical thinker in terms of business strategy and proven ability to provide actionable insights
