Premier Academic Medical Center is hiring an experienced Operating Room / General Surgery Assistant Nurse Manager to help with operations of the Operating Room!
Will consider a “try before you buy” 13 week assignment before committing to a permanent capacity! Or we will consider a permanent only capacity.

This position will assist in managing with leadership the operations of the general surgery departments at multi sites and primarily over General Surgery, Robotics, Plastic Surgery, ENT, complex combination cases and much more! Candidate will help oversee the patient care in the surgery departments and assist with the Operations: Time & Attendance, Scheduling, Compliance; RQI (drug, RQI, and other tasks). No patient care responsibilities.
Experience and Education Requirements:
• ASN required.
• Requires American Heart Association BLS, and current Texas RN license or ability to obtain a TX license.
The candidate must have 2+ years of charge nurse / supervisory general surgery experience in a fast paced hospital
Preferred Experience and Education:
• BSN preferred.
• Experience working as a charge nurse in a high acuity, high volume environment.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a high acuity environment with complex, high tech cases.

TEMP TO PERM OR DIRECT PERM OPPORTUNITY. Work on a temporary basis for 13 weeks with the intention to transition to a permanent role so long as both parties agree after the temp period ends. You can also apply to work exclusively as a permanent candidate if preferred.
