We are hiring an experienced cardiothoracic physician assistant in Bloomington, IL (2.5 hours south of Chicago and 90 minutes west of Indianapolis, 2 hours from St. Louis!) !
Join a team of 2 Cardiac Surgeons and six Advanced Practice Providers, state of the art heart center, recently recognized as Top in the nation for cardiac surgery and best in the region for cardiac care and cardiac surgery in addition to a five-star rating for bypass surgery and treatment of heart attacks and heart failure!
We have a full time and a part-time PRN position available!
Practice scope includes adult cardiothoracic surgery – CABG, valve surgery, TAVR. Opportunity to develop sub practice based on clinical interests. A comprehensive practice that includes surgery, clinic, and hospital rounding, allowing 1st Assist APP to practice full-scope including surgical first-assisting, Endoscopic Vein Harvest (EVH), and perioperative patient care
