Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the operation of the rig, crew and equipment and for ensuring customer satisfaction with all services rendered
• Ensure that all crew are at the rig and ready to work at scheduled time, and maintain productivity standards for all rig functions
• Operate water-well drilling rigs and other equipment to drill, bore, and dig for water wells or for environmental assessment purposes
• Record drilling progress and geological data
• Perform routine maintenance and equipment, such as replacing parts, building up drill bits, and lubricating machinery
• Prepare drilling reports of all drilling activity
• Perform and document pre-drilling inspections
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance of applicable regulations and policies
• Contribute to the development of processes and procedures
Experience:
• Oil & gas: 1 year (Preferred)
• Driver’s License (Required)
• CDL B (Preferred)
