RESPONSIBILITIES:
Certified Surgical Techs scrub in on orthopedic, spine, urology, and pain management cases. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure all instruments, equipment, and supplies necessary are present and sterile for procedures
- Assist the physician and occasionally an RN during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Perform specimen reconciliation and care
- Assist with procedure room turnovers and close-of-day activities
