RESPONSIBILITIES:
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) and the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) monitor and wean Oxygen Therapy and artificial ventilation. The CRT/RRT draws, analyzes, and reports Arterial Blood Gases and EKG tests. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Deliver intermittent therapy and assist with changing of artificial airways
- Perform routine and advanced therapeutic procedures according to established policy and procedure and CPR and bag- mask ventilation
- Operate, maintain, and repair respiratory equipment to ensure proper static functioning, cleanliness, and operation
