Very successful and actively growing restaurant group is looking for energetic, dedicated Manager candidates to help oversee various locations in Southern California. Known for their seasonally driven Italian offerings made with only the freshest ingredients, this popular concept is beloved by the community and has garnered a loyal following. The right attitude and mindset are very important to this role, and the ideal candidate should have a respectful, hands-on leadership style with the ability to foster and maintain a positive, motivational work environment while supporting the GM. This is an exciting opportunity to join a special group that offers incredible quality of life and work-life balance! Location is flexible but candidates must be based in the Greater Los Angeles area or able to relocate.

Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the FOH team
  • Perform all aspects of the job with a high level of professionalism and integrity
  • Establish positive work culture
  • Ensure the team is well educated on menu items
  • Provide Support for GM in a positive manner
  • Maintain cooperative relationships with all vendors, business partners, and staff
  • Encourage opportunities for the team to learn and grow
  • Continually strive to educate and develop of staff as it relates to food, beverage, and service
  • Ensure stellar guest experience in all areas
  • Solve any guest issues in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Assess employee performance and providing helpful feedback and training opportunities
  • Ensure quality and consistency of all products served
  • Ensure all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition.
  • Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and deliver prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.
  • Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, and labor requirements

Manager Qualifications:

  • 1-5 years of experience in the restaurant industry with a minimum of 1-2 years in a management role (i.e Restaurant Manager, Floor Manager, Floor Supervisor, Restaurant Supervisor, Service Manager, Dining Room Manager, FOH Manager or comparable hospitality management role) in an upscale concept
  • Strong leader and motivator to the staff and management
  • Passion for food, beverage, and excellent hospitality
  • A lead by example approach
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and maintain composure

  • Basic understanding of administrative functions and controlling cost of goods
  • Computer proficiency, including the use of Microsoft office
  • Strong knowledge of and passion for food and beverage
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays
  • Food safety certification

Compensation Package Includes:

  • Base salary in the $68-75k range
  • Quarterly Bonus Structure
