Special Skills/Experience required: 2 Years All travelers are required to float, while on the interview please inform traveler of the Methodist Floating Policy Unit Specifics – Information below is requested for better sourcing: Patient Ratios: 3:1 Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries, free Charge Nurse): Type of equipment : Common to ICU Documentation system: Meditech Scheduling requirements: 36 hours per week 3 12 hour shifts with alternating weekends. Floating policy: As needed Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role) NIH REQUIRED BLS ACLS 2 YEARS OF HOSP EXPERIENCE Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first) MEDITECH EXPERIENCE PREFERRED Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN) Active TX Rn License-Temp License will NOT be accepted Procedures performed on unit: Peripheral IV start Foley, NGT insertions Charting with Meditech Monitor cardiac Cardiac and some hemodynamic monitoring, Endo Tool Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. Scrub Color o RN: Navy-scrub top and pant, Navy or white scrub jacket Nail Policy Clean and Healthy Hair – hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed Tattoos Body art should be covered whenever possible.
