TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Yuma, Arizona, 85364 Pay Information $2,412 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 7pm-7am Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the emergency room License: Active and in hand Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: Experience in Trauma Level I and II within the past three years Description: This position requires a registered nurse with significant experience in emergency settings. The role is in a fast-paced emergency room environment, dealing with a range of emergency cases. The emergency department features 52 beds and 4 trauma bays. It includes 6 fast-track beds and uses an Emergency Severity Index (ESI) for triage. Patient treatment averages 200 per day. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:5 for medical and 1:6 for fast track cases. Candidates must have experience with common ICU drips for held patients. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS, with TNCC preferred. The emergency department is staffed with varied shifts for physicians and mid-levels. There is a dedicated team for respiratory therapy, and RT services are available 24/7. The nurse will be required to read their own telemetry, in addition to support from monitor techs. This role requires standard nursing duties and an ability to handle diverse emergency medical needs. Shifts have a schedule with varied start times and include some weekend and holiday requirements. Modified self-scheduling is employed, and scrubs are navy blue. The facility has a charting system in place for ease of record-keeping.
