TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Sacramento, California, 95819 Pay Information $3,122 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgical Intensive Care Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Days, Every Other Weekend, First to Float Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Ability to read and interpret EKG strips Job Description: – Provide care in the Cardiovascular Surgical Intensive Care environment, focusing on pre and post-operative care for cardiovascular patients. – Participate in bedside report at the start of each shift. – Work on a unit with a 1:1-2 nurse-to-patient ratio, supporting critically ill patients. – Involvement with a variety of medical equipment including Vents and monitoring systems. – Collaborate with an in-house Hospitalist or Intensivist to provide comprehensive patient care. – Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate and effective documentation. – Rotation requirements include every other weekend and holiday staffing. – Scrub attire required in Navy, with optional jackets in Navy. – Partake in self-scheduling with final approval by the Manager, accommodating trading shifts as needed. – Float across various local facilities with the potential for mid-shift adjustments. – Undergo 1-2 days of floor-specific orientation with a preceptor. – Engage with common diagnoses including CABG, LVADs, Impellas, IABP, TAVRs, and CRRT, adhering to established protocols and pathways. – Core staff will validate skills for specific procedures, with comprehensive support offered. – Cancellation policy allows up to three cancellations per contract, potentially affecting shifts.
