TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Jeffersonville, Indiana, 47130 Pay Information $2,254 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Job Specialty: Medical/Surgical Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM Guaranteed Hours: To be discussed during the hiring process Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: – IV insertion – PICC/Central Line management – Experience in assessing Dialysis Fistula – Knowledge in managing CPAP/BiPAP (clinical management by RT) – Trach Care – PCA pump management – Proficiency with feeding tubes – Continuous bladder irrigation experience – Experience with wound vacs Job Description: – Work every other weekend – Must be able to read tele strips – Handle mixed diagnoses, with both medical and surgical patients – Utilize common equipment such as IV pumps, IPCD machines, Kangaroo pumps, PCA pumps, glucometers, Massimo pulse oximeters, and wound vacs – No need to titrate medication – Administer common medications as required – Chart patient progress using EPIC software – Wear Galaxy Blue scrubs (not provided by facility) Unit Highlights: – 24-bed capacity – Patient ratio of 6:1 – Clinical Resource Nurse (CRN) available on each shift without patient assignments – Dedicated discharge nurse available on weekdays – Clinical pharmacists staffed on the unit Monday through Friday – Dedicated staffing coordinator for the department This opportunity provides a supportive environment with a focus on collaboration and professional development.
