Operating Room Radiology Technologist with OR Hybrid suite experience needed.
A well-known prestigious hospital with facilities throughout the Dallas / Fort Worth area is seeking an experienced Operating Room Radiology Technologist to perform hybrid suite imaging exams.
As an OR Rad Tech you will be working in a Hybrid Operating Room. In these rooms, the technologists will operate the equipment and software while the surgeon performs vascular surgery.
The ideal candidate must also be able to perform processing functions on hybrid OR suites and remote workstations at the hospital. This position includes supporting our Hybrid OR suites, Pulmonary Robotic and general OR cases, and pre/post op imaging needs. There will be call around every 7-8 weeks for 1 week once trained.
This may include, but is not limited to, knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, IVUS, WorkSpot, vessel navigation, roadmapping, subtraction, TerraRecon and power injector.
You will also be adjusting technical factors specific to diagnostic imaging equipment to include sterile procedure, OR staff assistance and patient assessment. You must be able to recognize and communicate any changes in hemodynamic data, patient symptoms and responses.
You will also be reviewing OR schedule, coordinating/flexing to OR case load.
To qualify you MUST be:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – ARRT (R) required.
- Licensed by Texas Medical Board (TMB).
- BLS/CPR by the American Heart Association for Healthcare.
- Associates degree in Radiologic Sciences or Graduate from AMA approved school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Preferred experience working Philips Hybrid OR
