Location: United Kingdom (remote)
The company
Series A funded start-up specialising in financial services and insurance compliance solutions is looking for a Senior Salesperson to join their growing team in the UK. My client’s technology solves one of the biggest challenges in compliance for their customers and they already have over 10 majors banks as customers.
The role
- New business sales targeting brand new customers and growing business within accounts
- Build pipeline and close deals in line with agreed quota
- Develop a strong understanding of the key industry drivers and pain points around compliance
- Work with pre-sales to demonstrate the product’s capabilities
- Maintain an up to date and accurate sales CRM and report pipeline and deal progress to the regional manager
- Support product development by passing client and prospect feedback to the product team
- Represent the brand at industry and networking events
- Manage complex contractual and commercial negotiations
Essential Requirements
- Proven record of selling complex SaaS solutions into the financial services space
- New logo sales experience
- The tenacity and determination to succeed in a start-up environment
- Top class negotiations skills
- Excellent relationship and rapport building skills
- A team-player who will support and encourage colleagues
