Principal UI Designer
Atlanta, GA – hybrid-remote 3 days onsite
12+ month W2 contract w/ potential for extensions or conversion full time
We are looking for a dynamic and highly skilled UI Designer to join our team, working closely with the Design System Lead to create and maintain a cohesive design system that drives a seamless user experience across our digital products. You will play a key role in crafting pixel-perfect designs, evolving the UI library, and ensuring consistency and scalability across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with the Design System Lead to implement and extend the design system across projects.
– Create, iterate, and refine high-quality UI components, layouts, and prototypes.
– Ensure visual consistency and brand integrity through all product touchpoints.
– Partner with UX designers, developers, and stakeholders to translate user needs and business requirements into functional, visually appealing designs.
– Contribute to design guidelines, documentation, and best practices for UI standards.
– Stay up-to-date on design trends, tools, and technologies to drive innovation in UI design.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience in UI design, particularly within a design system or similar collaborative environment.
– Strong proficiency in design tools: Figma
– Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering top-quality, visually compelling UI components.
– Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate design decisions effectively.
– Experience with responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and usability principles.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $75.00 to $85.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
