Job description
We are seeking individuals with at least 1 year of recent surgery scheduling experience and coordinating and developing clinical administrative activities to ensure the smooth flow of patient care services and operations: This position works directly with other PAS & MA staff, the division manager, and faculty to achieve the optimal performance of PAS related activities by providing current information and recommendations. This position is responsible for facilitating patient access to OHSU health care services through direct contact and phone interactions with patients, including back-up patient check-in, scheduling clinic appointments, gathering demographic and financial information. The position directly supports the Department of Surgery objectives of clinical care, quality assurance, education and research.
We are currently offer a $500 signing bonus.
Requirements:
1 year of previous surgery scheduling experience
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently, required
A pre-employment physical, drug test and background screening is REQUIRED
Must be extremely reliable.
