Based on your work ethic, development, and dedication to your role, with support from your local branch and job-site leadership, you will develop and strengthen your skill sets
We are seeking a Structural Welder to become part of our team!
Your responsibilities will include:
- Accomplishing with minimal supervision, production welding on a ship to support structural repairs
- Be accountable for completion of daily work assignments
- Prepare work area for hot work and surfaces for production welding by inspecting joints, etc.
- Operate and care for welding equipment, portable power tools, and hand tools to complete assigned work
Requirements for this role include:
- Must have at least 4 years of experience (Welding & Shipyard)
- Candidates must be able to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, & schematics
- Must be DBIDS Eligible
- Welding Experience: SMAW, FCAW, GMAW (Ceramic & metal backing)
