Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Enterprise Architect to join our Customer Enablement team. This role focuses on leveraging Salesforce to create seamless experiences across various customer-facing channels. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of deep technical Salesforce knowledge, strategic thinking, and strong interpersonal skills, especially in working with C-level executives and stakeholders. You will drive the technical direction of our customer solutions, aligning with business objectives and helping to implement cutting-edge solutions that integrate Salesforce with various other platforms like Order Management and Commerce Cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Engage proactively with key stakeholders, ensuring their concerns and requirements are understood and clearly communicated to development teams.
- Act as a liaison between business leaders and technical teams, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
- Provide regular updates, and anticipate and address any issues or concerns before they arise.
2. Solution Design & Requirements Translation
- Intake business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into a strategic narrative or artifact that presents potential solutions.
- Collaborate with vendors, platform product managers, and system integrators (SI vendors) to design and deliver Salesforce-based solutions.
- Build roadmaps and deliverables, blending the input from various stakeholders into agile portfolios.
- Develop a strong understanding of both business needs and technical capabilities to ensure seamless, efficient solution delivery.
Top Required Skills & Experience:
-
Salesforce Expertise (3-5 years)
- Extensive experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Salesforce Core.
- Proficient in Salesforce integration with external systems such as Order Management (OCI) and Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
- Ability to design solutions and troubleshoot issues within the Salesforce ecosystem.
-
Enterprise Architecture Experience (3-5 years)
- Proven track record of working in enterprise architecture roles, delivering large-scale solutions.
- Experience working in hybrid environments, particularly with a focus on customer-facing solutions.
-
Strong Communication & Presentation Skills
- Ability to communicate with C-level executives, presenting technical solutions, cost analyses, and strategic recommendations in clear, business-friendly terms.
- Experience in writing and delivering clear, concise reports and technical documentation.
-
Stakeholder Management & Solution Design
- Experience translating business requirements into actionable technical roadmaps and deliverables.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across various departments.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, especially in Salesforce, with a strategic mindset that can see beyond Salesforce to deliver integrated, customer-centric solutions.
- We are looking for someone who is solutions-oriented, proactive, and adaptable, rather than someone who applies Salesforce solutions to every problem.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, particularly in interacting with high-level executives, are a must.
- Flexibility and a strong desire to shape the future of our enterprise architecture will be key for success in this role.
