Kelly Science & Clinical is hiring a Business Development Manager – Scientific – remote
We are looking for an Account Manager with a passion for developing relationships and building a book of business in science !
Remote position- employee must be based in the northeast -east coast (United States)
Travel 2-3 weeks out of the month – at least two days
Requirements:
3-5 years of key account management with experience utilizing enterprise selling skills
• At least 5-7 years of previous sales experience, in addition to the above 3-5 years key account management
• Strong understanding of customer needs in the areas of hospital systems, clinical lab testing and procurement including Group Purchasing Organizations
• Proven track record of delivering growth in both revenue and profits, establishing strong relationships coupled with utilizing analytical skills to deliver growth in new and existing customers.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Personally accountable for the achievement of revenue and profitability targets for hospitals systems and large clinics
- Responsible for the acquisition of new hospital system clients as well as the retention and growth of existing clients
- Develop relationships with influential decision makers at strategic hospital systems and group purchasing organizations and the breadth of our esoteric toxicology portfolio of tests
- Collaborate with Customer Experience team to ensure client receives highest level of service and on-boarding
- Collaborate with marketing and lab operations to ensure that client needs are fully translated
- Prepare sales presentations and account plans based upon specific customer needs including improving
Benefits
Direct Placement position with benefits
Base salary is between 126k – 154,600
Total comp earning potential first year 200k
Education
Sales • Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in the sciences, MBA preferred
• 3-5 years of key account management with experience utilizing enterprise selling skills
Additional Skills desired for this position
1. hard work ethic and travel 2-3 weeks out of the month whereby overnight 2-3 nights than home
2. know how labs and hospital works and how to operate in that setting to sell testing services
3. know how to cold call and know sale cycle from cold call to close- know how to penetrate accounts
