POSITION SUMMARY:
The purpose of this position is to provide data analytics support services to the Clinical Research Operations and Management System (CROMS) within the NIH. CROMS collects clinical trial enrollment and other study-related data for all NIA-funded clinical trial portfolio. The primary objective of this position is to provide data quality oversight and analyses related to the assessment of CROMS trial portfolio. Ideal candidates would have experience and knowledge in GIS analyses.
TASKS. The contractor shall:

Collect and analyze data for a variety of studies.

Perform data entry in support of a number of different systems and programs, both numerical and text format.

Work with staff to gather and analyze information from users, primarily principal investigators (PIs), needed for the development or modification of CRFs and accompanying interface relating to data collection, storage and access.

Coordinate and perform data entry.
-
Perform quality checks to ensure consistency, integrity and robustness of data.
-
Provide analysis, analytical modeling, and/or data visualization on data sets using relevant data tools.

Organize data to provide functional reporting.
-
Ensure that appropriate variables are captured in the constructed databases.
-
Record data into a format appropriate for processing.
-
Prepare tables and figures from data analyses.
-
Perform database searches and assemble data sets.
-
Create and maintain a variety of reports.
-
Work with staff to curate data, retrieve records, generate reports and act as a liaison with academic and industry researchers.

Maintain databases for tracking and monitoring activities.
-
Manages storage and backup systems.
-
Follow established policies and procedures for the quality assurance of all study collection interfaces, storage and access.
-
Participate in the development and design of databases for tracking and statistical purposes that incorporate multiple data fields required by scientists.

Maintain tracking spreadsheet of tasks completed for each project and time spent conducting each task.

Maintain databases and spreadsheets related to various data sharing activities.

Maintain databases and spreadsheets for tracking and analyzing submission of datasets.
-
Assist with coordination of statistical data analysis for numerous ongoing studies by collecting, organizing, and tracking information.

Work with the data manager to provide data auditing services to studies that are active and ongoing as required to ensure that the quality of the data meets the study goals and quality standards.

Manage projects and quickly responds to inquiries about status.

Perform database analysis to look for incomplete data elements.

Work with database users to identify and resolve cases of missing data.
-
Coordinate statistical data analysis for numerous ongoing studies by collecting, organizing, and tracking information.

Prepare databases and reports for staff; perform various tracking and analysis of branch data to include spreadsheet preparation and interpretation.

Develop and designs databases for tracking and statistical purposes that incorporate multiple data fields required by scientists.

Maintain tracking spreadsheet of tasks completed for each project and time spent conducting each task.

Maintain databases and spreadsheets related to various data sharing activities.
REQUIREMENTS. The contractor must have:

Bachelor’s in Information management, computer science, data analytics, social sciences, or related field.

Minimum of one (1) year of related experience. Additional experience is preferred.

Experience with data quality control, database management, and data analysis.
-
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), databases, and data management tools.

Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.
