A large pesticide sprayer manufacturer is looking for Quality Control Inspectors at their location in New York Mills, NY!
Job Summary: Responsible for all first piece, incoming, in process and finished goods inspections as directed. Maintain the appropriate records to comply with the company and customer documentation requirements. The Quality Control Inspector is also responsible for the evaluation and documentation of all Customer Returns.
Your typical day:
• Conduct First Article Inspection on all new products and/or revised products.
• Inspection throughout the entire manufacturing process including inspection of raw materials, parts, sub-assemblies, and finished goods.
• Document all inspections as well as all non-conforming product found during the inspection process.
• Responsible for the examination, disposition, and documentation of all Customer Returns.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety in all the Quality Control work areas.
Experience:
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a quality control inspector or a minimum of 1 year in manufacturing.
• Experience using measuring devices (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.)
• Blueprint reading experience.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Must have good attendance.
• Must be able to perform mathematical equations.
Additional Information:
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 1st shift (7:00am-3:30pm) and 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:30pm)
• Pay Rate: $18.00-$18.50/hr.
• Must be able to work overtime
