Kelly Services is currently recruiting for Accounts Receivable clerk for one of its clients located in Brampton, Ontario.

It’s a temporary contract position with a possibility of full time Perm role in future.

The candidate should be available to work full time hours Monday to Friday for first two weeks and then full time for three days from the following week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday)

Responsibilities

  • Follow up with customers on past-due accounts.
  • Contact customers regarding any discrepancies in payments.
  • Maintain detailed customer records.
  • Process incoming payments via cheque, lockbox, or EFT.
  • Log daily collections activities.
  • Reconcile customer accounts.
  • Prepare weekly customer aging reports with status of overdue accounts.
  • Respond to customer inquiries.
  • Process credit and debit memos.
  • Work closely with customer service and customers to resolve disputes in a timely manner.
  • Apply discounts and sales rebates.
  • Ensure customer invoices and monthly statements are sent out.
  • Place customers on hold or COD and set credit limits.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in accounts receivable.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with customer.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads.
  • Strong attention to detail with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
