We are hiring for Substitute Paraprofessional in Rose Tree Media School District!

Substitutes are essential in ensuring students continue to learn and grow every day.  Substitute Aides may also be referred to as Paraprofessionals, Education Technicians, Teacher’s Aide, Instructional Assistant, Classroom Assistant or Education Assistant.

Minimum requirements: 

 High School diploma or GED


  • Assume duties of the district employee in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies 

  • Assist, support and work closely with the supervising district/school employees 

  • Assisting students on classroom topics/courses 

  • Building positive relationships 

  • Assigning or re-enforcing tasks and homework 

  • Empower students to learn, and encourage classroom participation 

  • Assist in building a classroom environment that’s conducive to learning and appropriate to the ability and interests of students 

  • Adapt to the various learning styles of students 

  • For long-term teacher assignments, it may be required to develop lessons plans, as well as build, administer, and grade tests and assignments
