What’s a typical day as a Forklift Operator? You’ll be:
- Receiving, processing, labeling and storing incoming and outgoing stock
- Loading and unloading pallets and goods from truck
- Inspecting all goods for damages and keeping record of damaged goods Organization and cleaning of warehouse space
- Properly pack items to ensure no damage to goods occurs during transit
- Operating warehouse equipment such as forklift and/or pallet jack
- Assisting with inventory counts
- Reporting any issues or discrepancies to Warehouse Supervisor
- Other duties as assigned
This job might be a great fit if you:
- 6 monts to 1 year of experience operating sit-down electric forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Experience with shipping, receiving and packing
- Must be tech-savvy for printing tickets/receipts
- Ability to read, understand and carry out written procedures and standard work instructions
- Team player
- Ability to lift 60+ pounds
- Ability to stand, kneel, squat as required
- Must have dependable transportation
Compensation and Shift Details:
- First shift 8:30am to 5:00 PM Monday to Friday
- Compensation: $18.00/hour
