TECHEAD is seeking qualified applicants for the following Contract position – Okta/ IAM Implementation Engineer / Richmond VA – (JOB-20046). Contract: 1 Year
Hybrid: 2-3 times per month

- Okta Solution Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and design Okta-based identity and access management solutions that align with business needs and security requirements.
- Possess a deep technical understanding of Okta’s identity and access management solutions
- Implementation and Configuration: Hands-on experience in implementing and configuring Okta solutions, including single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), user provisioning, and other identity and access management features.
- Integration: Integrate Okta with various applications, systems, and directories to ensure seamless and secure user authentication and authorization processes.
- Security Compliance: Ensure that Okta implementations adhere to industry best practices and security standards. Conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary controls to protect identity data.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support for Okta-related issues and incidents. Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to authentication and access management.
- Okta certification is a plus (e.g., Okta Certified Professional).
- Proven hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Okta solutions.
- Proven hands-on technical expertise and the ability to architect and engineer Okta solutions that meet our security and authentication needs.
- Strong knowledge of identity and access management concepts, including SSO, MFA, OAuth, and OIDC.
- Familiarity with integrating Okta with various applications, systems, and directories (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills related to identity and access management.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A commitment to staying current with industry trends and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
