Job Description:

Oracle APEX Developer 

Location: Remote (Local Richmond, VA candidates preferred)

Contract: 6 Months 


  • Develop required interfaces or make changes to existing interfaces based on new requirements.
  • Convert existing PL/SQL Web toolkit applications into APEX 22.1.
  • Review code/functionality in PL/SQL Web toolkit applications and design/develop pages in APEX.
  • Validate the functionality of converted pages using the latest web technologies, JavaScript/jQuery frameworks, templates, and CSS styles to ensure security and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform bug fixes in existing PL/SQL Web toolkit applications.

Additional Responsibilities may include:

  • Conduct feasibility studies.
  • Analyze new requirements.
  • Prepare functional and system specifications for application programmers.
  • Develop data models and system designs.
  • Develop complex program codes.
  • Test applications and evaluate results for accuracy, timelines, and integrative features.
  • Prepare documentation.
  • Implement and support data processing systems.


  • Five or more years of work experience in Oracle 12c/18c/19c Database SQL, PL/SQL programming.
  • Three or more years of work experience in Oracle APEX, Javascript or JQuery, HTML.
  • Strong designing, development, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects/issues simultaneously.
  • Experience in assessing the impact of software upgrades and other environment changes.
