Role:
- Perform information technology functions related to implementation and migration of Enterprise Document Management and the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
- Design, develop, and implement Alfresco Portal applications.
- Review business user requirements and translate requirements into technical specifications for the design and development of Document Management software to streamline and resolve business problems.
- Establish and implement policies and procedures regarding document storage, sharing, transmission, and destruction.
- Evaluates existing document management systems and procedures to determine current effectiveness and efficiency; identifies and recommends improvements.
- Ensures security of system and integrity of master documents by implementing document and system access rights and revision controls.
- Ensures company complies with applicable laws and regulations regarding data security and document management.
- Liaise with IT systems experts on hardware and software issues that affect the availability and accessibility of content management systems.
DELIVERABLES & DUE DATES
1. Deliver Document Management/Content Management solutions on a timely basis.
2. Design, develop, and implement Alfresco Portal applications.
3. Experience designing, architecting, and implementing large-scale content migrations into Enterprise Content Services preferred.
4. Experience with content management platform like Alfresco, IBM FileNet, OpenText, Microsoft SharePoint, etc., preferred.
- Ensures company complies with applicable laws and regulations regarding data security and document management.
- Consults with end users to identify problems in accessing electronic content.
- Experience working with Agile, DevOps tools is a plus.
- Experience in development using Red Hat OpenShift, Java, Angular, HTML, SharePoint, Power BI, PowerApps is a plus.
