Venture Capital firm located in Midtown, Manhattan is seeking to hire a Temporary to Permanent Administrative Assistant to support one of the office. This position will start January 23rd and require 5 days in office. Hours 8:30am-5:00pm, availability for OT as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Answer, transfer and take messages for incoming calls and greet guests
- Maintain a clean and well stocked floor i.e. kitchens, office supplies, conference rooms, etc.
- Send company wide emails regarding events, notifications, and announcements
- Distribute mail and packages
- Manage administrative invoices and receipts
- Assist Chief of Staff and Executive Assistant(s) with tasks and projects (as needed)
- Assist and act as a point of contact to new and existing staff both in LE but also shared services partners and portfolio companies
- Maintain vendor relationships in tandem with the Facilities Coordinator
- Assist Administrative Team with set up for company cultural activities from inception to execution
- Willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty and complete a wide range of tasks, as needed and directed by Director of Facilities & Operations
Qualifications:
- Degree preferred
- 1- 3-year Office Coordination/ Executive Assistant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Google Drive
- Ability to manage and learn multiple types of internal and partnering software as related to the position. I.e. room management, seating chart, online ordering software
- Familiarity with Investment / Startup culture is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift packages, boxes, etc. from 10lb – 40lbs
Compensation/Benefits:
- Hourly rate is $20-$25/hr DOE
