The Role and Company:

We are currently looking for an Analyst – Fixed Income to join a leading Wealth Manager located in London. This analyst will work closely with the Chief Investment Officer and the Head of Fixed Income to prepare all the necessary materials for the Investment Committee and other publications. In addition, the chosen candidate will assist the Head of Fixed Income to undertake bond issuer and economic analysis to further support to the Fixed Income Committee in the ongoing analysis of bond holdings and potential new investments.


Essential Responsibilities of the role:

  • Preparation of materials for the investment committees
  • Working on regular ad hoc publications
  •  Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders responsible for client portfolios to ensure that the approved list and ongoing research is relevant to the business needs.
  • Research, monitor and select new credit ideas.
  • Propose and present analysis to the Fixed Income Committee.
  •  Provide appropriate research notes to support investment ideas appropriate for both key stakeholders and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the investment process and recommending improvements.
  • Advise in-house portfolio managers on suitability of investments and how an investment could fit within a portfolio context.


Successful candidates have the following attributes:

  • Educated to degree level with a Bachelors of Masters degree.
  • 2/3 years of experience in financial markets related to fixed income or credit.
  • Competent Excel user with some Bloomberg experience.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work to strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communicative and written skills.
  • Qualitative and quantitative skills relevant to the financial markets.
  • An understanding of operational due diligence and private client investment.
  • Intellectually curious and a strong passion for investment/ financial markets
