Assistant Compliance Officer

A multinational financial services company is searching for an Assistant Compliance Officer to join their London team. This is a permanent role supporting the operation of Employee Compliance via monitoring and conflict processing.

The Assistant Compliance Manager will be responsible for:

-New joiner disclosures

-Personal Account Dealing

-Charitable donations and sponsorships

-Gifts and entertainment

-Employee compliance attestations

-Development of policy and procedure

-Ad hoc Compliance responsibilities

The Assistant Compliance manager will sit within the wider Group Compliance Function under the Head of Employee Compliance and the Compliance COO. This is a fast-paced environment so the ability to multitask and make judgements in cases of imperfect information will see the successful candidate succeed in this role.  Experience of employee conflicts management systems, processes and policies or experience of conflict management focused rules and regulations, as well as a business focused degree, would be preferred. The Assistant Compliance manager should have regulatory knowledge as well as strong analytical skills. For applicants with demonstrable relevant experience, the firm is willing to offer up to 45k per annum.
