Construction Account Handler / Exec.
Fantastic role for a Client Facing / Broker Support individual to join one of the markets lead independent broking houses.
You will ideally have experience of working in a Construction team although we are VERY open to hearing from applicants in relevant markets such as Property, Construction, Power… etc.
Assisting the smooth running of broking and client activities you will have prior experience of producing documents for the market, communicating with clients and markets and potentially even exposure to broking.
Core Duties :-
• Coordinates placement of risks, including production of documentation to assist placement & maintenance throughout the risk life cycle (underwriting submissions, market reform contracts, wordings, endorsements)
• Plays a highly active role/relationship with clients via email, telephone and face-to-face, dealing with Client, Underwriter and Market Representative queries
• Demonstrates excellent technical knowledge and ability to communicate this to various audiences (Insureds, Retailers, Wholesalers, Internal and Underwriters)
• Ensures that accounts are serviced efficiently and professionally – creates MRC slips, policy wordings and Underwriter submissions; deals with slip endorsements; maintains the certificate log; negotiates bespoke wordings to meet Clients’ needs
