Account Executive Job Description:

  • Reports to Vice President Logistics
  • Provides customer support by understanding the customer’s needs working with our operations team to ensure those needs are met
  • Develop new customer relationships through prospecting, cold calling, internal company data mining and referrals.
  • Generates weekly sales agenda with both potential and existing accounts
  • Scout and identify upselling opportunities among existing clients
  • Develop and maintain good working relationship with other members of the sales team and operations team
  • Develop and present sales presentations, customer reviews and proposals
  • Conducts weekly reviews with VP to discuss opportunities, existing accounts and potential sales strategies for revenue growth.
  • Work with Operations team to enable fluid on-boarding of new customers
  • Collaborates on the development of effective pricing for bids and spot pricing efforts
  • Monitors digital pricing support tools, news feeds and customer interactions to remain relevant on spot market and contract pricing
  • Works with management team to ensure a continuous improvement management approach for the company


Ideal Qualities

  • 1+ years of 3PL sales experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and self-disciplined
  • Ability to work effectively in an office environment or from home



  • Work remotely in Iowa, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Pittsburgh
