This SAP Technical Specialist contract position is part of an SAP Basis team whose objective and responsibility will be to support SAP Solution Manager Landscape and its core functionalities. The role will be point of contact for issues related to Key Solution Manager 7.2 functionalities for application lifecycle management as primary role. Responsibilities: Apart from day to day support, person will be of part core team to enhance and implement new functionalities of SAP Solution Manager that covers wide spectrum of SAP best practices and methodologies to continuously improve operations of the IT business solution. Provide the day to day administration support to SAP Solution Manager 7.2 key capabilities like Primary (Required) – Application Life Cycle Management (ALM) including SAP Change and Release Management (ChaRM) & Retrofit CTS+ Configuration and Maintenance Technical Monitoring requirement gathering, configuration and support SAP Solution Documentation Business Process Change Analysis Responsible to train run support team to manage the ALM functionality: Secondary (Optional) – Business process Operations using guided procedures Able to plan the implementation of BPM and BPA in various environments Conduct review of implementation from SAP for implementation Partner with managed/technical teams to review usage of Business Process Monitoring and Interface Connection Monitoring alerts and make required threshold changes using guided procedures Interfaces with business solution teams and partners on operational platform events as well as solution design needs. Support solution manager environment for projects and production support activities. Prepare necessary documentation for configuration, troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance of the environment Partners with Enterprise Architecture teams for product selection and product capability roadmaps and information governance processes. Responsible for troubleshooting technical issues reported by end users Collaborate with SAP teams in the areas of development of new functionality or ramp-up initiative Requirements: Experience in troubleshooting BPM and BPA configuration Able to present and interact with business process owners Provide after-hours support as needed.
