Our client in Philadelphia, PA is looking for a Senior Systems Admin to join their team.

Position Description:

Monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
Architect, configure, and document core On-Premises and any Multi cloud services including virtual machines, DNS, storage, and monitoring across the organization.
System administration and support (including data backup, security management, user account management, e-mail systems, mobile device management, storage management)
Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, virtual environments, application software and system management tools
Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability, including ownership of backup, disaster recovery, and other redundancy strategies.
Develop and maintain automated solutions using scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
Provide second level support to the end users and provide after-hours support for the business as they relate to specific IT projects or major incidents
Provide 2nd and 3rd level support and provide technical direction to support staff, including documentation and training
Liaise with vendors, management, and IT personnel for problem resolution
Provide direct support to other technology teams
Rotating after hours on-call supported required
Ability to drive between locations as required

Required Skills:

Candidates have been rejected for not having ALL of the following:

7+ years of sys admin experience
VMware virtualization (ESX, vCenter)
Microsoft Active Directory/Azure Active Directory
Microsoft Azure – Must have experience with Azure at the service level (tier 2). Just building VMS (tier 1) will not be enough.
PowerShell – Must have experience authoring scripts
Office 365 Admin – Migration and support knowledge of cloud services
Microsoft Exchange Hybrid – Must have MS Exchange Hybrid/Cloud experience
Enterprise storage systems (SAN and NAS)
Cisco Blades / UCS
Enterprise backup solution (Veeam data protection)
