Workplace Investing Sales Support Team Manager

The client is a privately held, purpose driven investment solutions company who offer investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, and many other financial products. They work with a range of different clients, ranging from sovereign wealth funds, large corporations, insurers, central banks down to private individuals. They are looking for a Workplace Investing Sales Support Team Manager to join their Workplace Investing Sales Team. This team is responsible for increasing clients, assets and members in the UK defined contribution and cross boarder business through expansion and distribution of both full service and investment only DC products.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing requests for new business opportunities and existing client retention work.
  • Preparing material issued to market and compliance self-sign off to a high level of precision.
  • Collaboration with Sales Directors and broader Global Workplace Investing business to ensure targets met and best practice
  • Ensuring compliance agenda is met.
  • Ensuring RPF answer database is controlled and updated.
  • Excellent risk management.
  • Supervision of management reporting and management of workflow items.
  • Line management of team.
  • Personal responsibility for innovation and best practice throughout the team.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven ability of line management responsibility.
  • RFP experience preferred.
  • Extensive investment knowledge required.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of DC framework of pensions industry.
  • Excellent communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to excel in team environment.
  • Proactive and innovative.
  • Able to identify what makes the clients unique and competitive.
  • Ability to problem solve under pressure.
