Job Title: Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM)
Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nurse-Midwife to join our healthcare team. The CNM will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive prenatal, postpartum, and women’s health care services, emphasizing a holistic approach to childbirth and wellness.
Responsibilities:

Prenatal Care:
- Provide prenatal care to pregnant individuals, including physical assessments, prenatal screenings, and counseling on nutrition and lifestyle.
- Perform routine prenatal tests, ultrasounds, and examinations to monitor the health of the mother and fetus.

Labor and Delivery Support:
- Assist in childbirth, providing emotional support, pain management techniques, and medical interventions when necessary.
- Promote natural childbirth methods and facilitate birth plans in collaboration with expectant parents.

Postpartum Care:
- Conduct postpartum assessments for mothers and newborns, offering guidance on breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.
- Monitor and manage postpartum complications and provide appropriate interventions.

Women’s Health Services:
- Offer comprehensive gynecological care, including annual exams, family planning, contraceptive counseling, and menopause management.
- Diagnose and treat common women’s health conditions and refer patients to specialists when necessary.

Patient Education and Advocacy:
- Educate patients and their families on reproductive health, childbirth options, and health promotion strategies.
- Advocate for women’s health issues and empower patients to actively participate in their healthcare decisions.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Nurse-Midwife (CNM) with a master’s or doctoral degree in nurse-midwifery from an accredited program.
- Active state licensure and certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) specializing in nurse-midwifery.
- Proficient in prenatal care, labor support, delivery management, and women’s health services.
- Strong communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a CNM in a clinical setting.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems used in midwifery practice.
- Commitment to continuing education and staying updated on advancements in midwifery and women’s health.
