Locum Pediatric Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant

Palm Health Resources is hiring an experienced Pediatric Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant for a contract Locum Contract to cover a 6 month maternity leave!

The incumbent would be performing 90% Operating Room Responsibilities, first assisting in pediatric heart surgery cases mostly.

There are some administrative duties to be shared but they are limited. Covering April through Sept 30th with an option to extend.

This is a smaller pediatric heart program where you would get the full spectrum Congenital cardiac surgery. Sophisticated service and CICU. Educational environment

 There would be on call responsibilities as well and shared on-call. There will be call responsibilities on weekends, to be split with the other PA. There are no “routine” weekend duties Ie rounding etc), but availability for procedures, emergencies, ecmo, etc. Weekend responsibilities occur but are not frequent
