Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:

  • Train, coach, and direct team – set the bar high and never underdeliver
  • Build respectful relationships with every member of the kitchen team while holding them accountable – integrity and inclusivity are priorities
  • Remain hands-on and eyes-on at all times in every aspect of the business
  • Manage high standards of service while paying acute attention to every detail 
  • Focus with the team on creating amazing guest experiences every time
  • Keep operations running smoothly in a very high-volume environment
  • Tightly manage portion sizes, recipe adherence, prep list completion, and waste controls

Kitchen Manager Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 3-5 years experience in a Full-service Restaurant KM or AKM role in a high-volume, systems-oriented casual to upscale-casual environment – NO JOB HOPPERS
  • Strong and proven leadership qualities: friendly, coach mentality, lead by example, and uphold restaurant standards
  • Thick skin to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to uphold standards, exceed expectations, and build relationships 
  • Inventory and Ordering are required – previous experience necessary
  • Strict adherence to safety and sanitation standards is a must
