We're seeking a Vice President to join our Risk team within our expanding Legal, Compliance, and Risk Department at one of the nation's fastest-growing independent SEC-registered investment advisors. Reporting directly to the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, you will spearhead our firm’s risk management efforts while maintaining close collaboration with, yet independence from, the Chief Investment Officer and the Investment Management team.

Vice President Risk Responsibilities:

  • Advise senior executives and the firm on key risk-related issues.
  • Develop comprehensive plans to address individual client risks and firm-wide risks.
  • Develop and monitor asset allocation models.
  • Approve trade requests within model parameters.
  • Lead a group of exceptionally accomplished team members.
  • Contribute to risk-related paperwork and disclosures.
  • Review new accounts and their risk profiles.

Vice President Risk Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years RIA portfolio management experience preferred.
  • Quantitative background (Finance, Accounting, etc.) desired.
  • CFA or similar certifications preferred.
  • Understanding of trading processes required.
  • Proficient in Excel and portfolio management software.
  • Knowledge of options mechanics and illiquid alternatives beneficial.
  • Basic understanding of SEC advertising rules needed.
