PT Requirements:
- Valid Colorado licensure as a Physical Therapist
- One year (preferred) of experience working with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- One year of experience overseeing and training staff
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuing education
PT Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to children (ages 0-18) with special needs
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans
- Encourage patients throughout their treatment to support their optimal functioning.
- Supervise and mentor staff, offering training and guidance
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
