PT Benefits:

PT Requirements:

  • Valid Colorado licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • One year (preferred) of experience working with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • One year of experience overseeing and training staff
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuing education

PT Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct physical therapy services to children (ages 0-18) with special needs
  • Assess and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Encourage patients throughout their treatment to support their optimal functioning.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, offering training and guidance
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
