Our client manufactures LED lighting drivers for stadiums, bridges, horticulture facilities, and many other commercial spaces around the globe. They are looking for an in-house Failure Analysis Engineer with an Electronic Engineering background and a DEEP understanding of the aspects of their product. In addition to the technical skills required, the ideal candidate needs to bring strong negotiation, problem-solving, and customer-facing skills. They will be in charge of working with worldwide clients to determine if a warranty claim has been met and how to resolve the issue. Qualifications:

  • Possess a BS in Electrical Engineering, BE, or BEng
  • 5+ years in electronic manufacturing experience, preferably in the LED lighting Industry
  • Ability and desire to relocate to Oklahoma City, OK

Responsibilities:

  • Execution of Global Warranty
  • Resolve claims, including directly negotiating with clients
  • Containment activities outside of the manufacturing location including distribution or the field will be coordinated by this position including hiring temporary team members when return of product is not feasible
  • Facilitate 8D process with international manufacturing locations including continuous improvement
  • Act as the voice of the customer and review corrective actions
  • Active participant in significant escape process, collaborating with CQO or CEO, as necessary
  • Set department budget in coordination with QA staff
  • Estimate warranty return, shipping, personnel, and all applicable cost
