Do you have excellent communicational skills and have led a team as a production supervisor? Atlas Staffing is seeking a Production Supervisor to work with one of our clients in Wapato, WA!
This position is responsible for the overall facility operation during their shift including raw fruit receiving, processing, packaging, storage, shipping, overseeing, and directing off hour’s maintenance, QA department and shift employees. Responsibilities:
Safe Quality Food (SQF)
-
Responsible for training hourly employees in understanding the Food Safety program and SQF guidelines that apply to their area.

Enforce HACCP and GMP requirements.

Create a culture that focuses on producing Safe, Quality Food
Product, Quality & Yield
-
Direct and oversee the processing plant and employees to ensure that all products are produced within the desired customer specification and quality expectations.
- Ensure that all HACCP and GMP procedures are complied with as directed by the QA and Plant Manager
- In conjunction with the QA Supervisor, Plant Manager and Maintenance Supervisor, maximize yield and sugar solids recovery in all areas.
- Ensure that losses due to lack of operator training, poor plant maintenance and out-of-specification product are controlled to the agreed level.
Personnel and Training

Efficiently manage both people and process and mold the two into an efficient, productive operation.

Communicate effectively with all personnel.

Lead by example.

In conjunction with the Plant Manager & HR Manager, handle employee problems, training, and remedial actions.
Shift: 3:00pm-11:30am (5-7 days a week depending on production needs)
Wage: DOE (Depending on Experience)
Requirements:
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree preferred. High school diploma required.
Experience:
-
Three years’ experience in a manufacturing environment required.
-
Experience leading and developing others required.
-
2-3 years’ experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred.

The Production Supervisor must interact and communicate effectively with all employees of the organization. Effective communication is especially important with the Plant Manager and QA Supervisor.
