Come be part of a new and unique Food & Beverage experience opening in LA! Our current need is an immediate hire for a Human Resources Generalist. Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with a remote Director of HR in carrying out responsibilities.
Success in this role will require influential partnerships with middle and senior management within the organization to execute the HR strategies that foster organizational and people effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities for the Human Resources Generalist:
- Collate and post open positions
- Interview, recruit, hire, and onboard all new team members (offboarding as required also)
- Assist all field managers with HR concerns
- Responsible for all Payroll functions
- Own the employee lifecycle and data through all systems
- Stay up to date with best practices and opportunities for benefits administration
- Manage all employee benefit plans and enrollment

Key Qualifications for the Human Resources Generalist:
- Advanced knowledge in CA labor laws
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential (preferred)
- 4 plus years of experience in Human Resources
- A background in hospitality or retail is preferred
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws
- Proficiency in utilizing programs including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint), Hot Schedules and PMS software.
