Our client, a mission-driven non-profit in Washington, DC, is seeking a direct-hire Major Gifts Officer to join their team!
About You:
- 8+ years of progressive development experience; major gifts, donor relations and individual giving experience required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Experience using a data management platform.
- Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional oral and written communication and project management skills.

The Job:
- Create and execute major and individual gift strategies.
- Build and manage donor relationships with current and prospective funders.
- Handle processing of donations and acknowledgement letters.
- Strategically prepare donor communications and disseminate to varying segmented lists.
- Collaborate closely with the Vice President of Development to provide additional support and complete special projects as needed.
