Our client, a health services company, is looking for a Human Resources Manager to join their team in Lincolnwood, IL. In this position, you will be handling all HR business, except for payroll, and be the go-to person for employees and their HR needs. This position pays, based on experience, up to $85k.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree required with courses in public or personnel administration, business, or any other related field
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience
- Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 Business Suite (i.e., Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Union experience preferred
- Can effectively communicate in both verbal and written correspondence
- Outstanding supervisory skills
Responsibilities:
- Will be assisting in hiring and terminating employees, maintaining all current employee records, employee discipline, office culture and labor reporting
- Train, counsel, and coach staff
- Manage and oversee the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
- Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations
- Resolve conflicts through positive and professional mediation
- Provide Reports as necessary
- Develops and maintain agency personnel policies and procedures
