Our client, a higher education institute in Waltham, is seeing an Events Director through September 2023 This role will primarily focus on the planning and execution of this May’s commencement events. The ideal candidate will have a strong events & project management background. The role will include managing space, vendors, budgets, timelines, catering, equipment, etc. The role will also involve communicating with speakers, guests, attendees, students, faculty and administration. You’ll be updating spreadsheets, working with a database, managing a high volume of communications and you’ll be partnering with other teams including operations and marketing. The person should be tech savvy, highly collaborative, detail oriented, and excellent at delegating tasks. Candidates with prior Supervisory experience preferred. This role can compensate up to $40 hourly and consists of a Monday – Friday, 9am to 5pm hybrid schedule. Interested parties are encouraged to apply today!
