Our client, a nonprofit located in Boston, is seeking a temporary Compliance Administrative Assistant. The Compliance Administrative Assistant will support the Senior Manager, Fraud & Compliance Investigations and will assist in managing investigatory response to allegations of misconduct, fraud, waste, and other compliance issues. The Compliance Administrative Assistant will track and manage incident reports in case management system, support the investigation process to ensure timely response, and support the planning and logistics for investigations as well as for training activities.

Office: Fully Remote

Pay: $25/hr.

Temporary for 3 to 4 months

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support investigations of alleged misconduct, fraud, waste, and other issues to ensure reports are thoroughly investigated and reported to all required parties within a timely manner. This includes:
    • Support and coordinate the investigative activities of other team members and/or co-sourced/outsourced investigators
    • Support the investigation throughout the investigation cycle, including initial inquiry/report, analysis, and final report writing.
    • Assist in investigative interviews and the taking of statements;
    • Assist in analyzing facts, determining findings and recommending corrective measures.
    • Support the drafting and submission of investigation notifications and reports to the Office of Inspector General
    • Support the planning and coordination of logistics for investigations
  • Act as Administrator and Case Manager:
    • Review all incoming incident reports and communicate the allegations to the Senior Manager, Fraud & Compliance Investigations.
    • Assist in the assignment of reports and the formation of incident response teams.
    • Report and analyze macro-level case data for regular reporting.
    • Track, manage, and record investigation details and outcomes; Upload and update documentation
    • Ensure investigations are moving forward in a timely manner and case records are being updated.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant work experience with investigation related work, operations, audits, financial analysis, management and/or compliance, ideally in a program-based global environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in relevant field such as accounting, finance, business administration, international affairs, or related field.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, time management, project management, and prioritization skills. Strong writing skills and interviewing skills are also desired.
  • Dynamic team player with strong multicultural communication skills.
  • An effective communicator, with strong oral and written skills and a willingness to share information.
  • A collaborative and flexible style with a strong customer service mentality.
  • Ability to work comfortably in the MS Office Suite applications, specifically MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as Google applications, e.g. Google Docs, Google Drive.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
