Beacon Hill Legal is seeking Part time Legal Assistant/Paralegal for our client a company located in the Turtle Creek area of Dallas. This position is Part Time Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays 9:00am-5:00pm. This position is responsible for providing case and marketing support, including document management, and research support for one or more of Analysis Group’s client casework. The person must be highly organized and demonstrate strong attention to detail, as well as excellent research, writing, and proofreading skills.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

Case document management, including cataloging case documents in an Access database.

Cite-checking reports and other work products.

Conducting market and company research using online resources and library searches.

Data entry, usually in Excel. May be asked to develop and organize data to optimize data input and storage capabilities.

Auditing and verifying work of others (including, but not limited to case exhibits, tables, and summaries).

Providing assistance with photocopying and preparation of binders.

Providing other general administrative and casework assistance as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree required.
  • Strong PC capability with particular strengths in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail, research, writing and proofreading skills.
  • Highly organized.
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and thorough.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize work efficiently.
  • Works well independently and within a team.
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Ability to work with internal consultants and information technology staff.

Additional Duties:

This person will be receiving lots of documents; entering into the Access database, determine the type of document (i.e. Legal docs, depo, doc, starting bates /ending bates, exhibits go with “x” document)
