Responsibilities:
- Create, issue, and confirm purchase orders using company ERP system in accordance with purchasing policies and governance.
- Frequently interacts with and supports processes/systems in daily supply chain operations -purchase order monitoring/maintenance and SAP master data maintenance.
- Maintain effective supplier relationships.
- Evaluate and monitor supplier shipping schedules and expedite purchase orders as needed to achieve on-time-delivery.
- Maintain close working relationship with business partners and assist with receiving, quality and invoice issue resolution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a supply chain and/or inventory role, ideally within in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology manufacturing or related environment, or equivalent relevant experience and/or education with an emphasis upon manufacturing in a regulated industry (medical/bio-tech preferred).
- Prior supplier relationship management required.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Excellent verbal and written proactive communication skills across multiple and varied areas of the organization, including but not limited to R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance and Engineering departments.
- Working knowledge and experience with ERP and MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
